This policy applies to vynde.org and all Vynde platform services. Vynde is an export assurance and supply chain traceability platform for African agricultural exporters. It explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how it is used and shared, and the rights you have over it.

- Organization account data: name, email, EORI, registration number
- Farmer data: full name, farmer code, phone (optional), state/LGA
- Farm data: GPS coordinates, farm boundaries, size, soil type
- Agricultural data: crop batches, harvest records, activities
- Field evidence: photos, GPS captures, audit records
- Payment records: amounts, dates, payment method (no card data stored)
- Grievance records: concern descriptions, contact details if provided

- Contract performance (platform services)
- Legal obligation (EUDR, CSDDD, NDPR compliance support)
- Legitimate interests (supply chain integrity verification)
5. How Data Is Used
- Export compliance documentation generation
- Supply chain traceability verification
- Buyer verification via public traceability pages
- Satellite deforestation monitoring
- Field audit management
6. Data Sharing
- Public traceability pages: farm location, batch data, compliance status
- Compliance documents shared with buyers as directed by the operator
- Satellite APIs: anonymised GPS coordinates for deforestation checking
- No data sold to third parties
7. Data Retention
- Active account data: retained for duration of account
- Compliance records: 7 years (EUDR/CSDDD audit trail requirements)
- Grievance records: 5 years
- Deletion requests processed within 30 days where legally permissible
